Bassora

Bassora is inspired by the decoration and ornamentation of plates from the archives of Maison Haviland. The two gold friezes with particularly intricate motifs are achieved through the ancient technique of inlay. This exceptional craftsmanship allows the porcelain to be finely chiselled, giving the gold an unparalleled relief, highlighting the exquisite detail. Between the friezes and along the edges of the pieces, a celadon ribbon brings the design to life.
